| is a photographer editor animal lover outdoor adventure junkie loves coffee in the morning splits time between the mountains & the ocean loves music can find humor in anything likes meeting new people isn't afraid to get dirty When I was a kid, my parents didn't tell me I was going to be a world traveler by the age of 20. Being raised in a military family, I was given the opportunity to travel and photograph many places all over the world. The itch for travel, new adventures, and creative opportunites continues to run thick through my viens. I graduated from The University of Maryland, Baltimore County Honors College (wow that's a long name) in 2006 with a B.A. in Visual Arts. I have always been inspired to take photographs, but the moment I actually fell in love with photography...was while I was living on the island of Oahu back in 96'. I've been pretty much obsessed ever since. Capturing the shear rawness of a person's expression, hiking up a mountain to experience a breathtaking landscape, or walking through a city- seeing something that no one else sees- and making it beautiful...makes my heart go thump thump. The first step in creating a piece of art begins when I start clicking. But, its not just about that... it's about having a natural eye behind the camera, being able to handle light, a location, a subject. It's about treating each client like a friend and that's what I do. So let's be friends... better yet let's hike a mountain together. |
